Authorities have released the name of a second man fatally shot in a suspected botched drug deal at a Northeast Side apartment Thursday.
Jarrel Letray Robinson, 23, and Myles Williams, 29, were found shot to death at the Bentley Meadows apartments in the 8000 block of Bentley Drive around 3:30 p.m., according to a San Antonio police department incident report.
Police were called to the scene for a shooting in progress, the report states, and arriving officers found a gray 2002 Chevrolet Malibu parked on a curb near a building. Williams was lying on his back outside of the car with a gunshot wound to the chest, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Robinson, who was in the driver’s seat, was able to tell the arriving police officer initially that he was “okay,” but then stopped responding after several minutes, the report states. He was shot several times on his left side and was also pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Meanwhile, officers found a third victim, 22-year-old Terrill Hubbard, near an apartment building. He was shot in the right leg, police said, and told officers he had been sitting in the passenger side of the car when “the person sitting behind him put a gun to his head,” the report states.
Hubbard told police he turned, pushing the gun down, and was shot in the leg. According to the report, Hubbard said he then ran into an apartment.
He was taken to Brook Army Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Police were searching for a red car that was seen leaving the complex after the shooting, the report states.
