A San Antonio man accused of aiding in the fatal stabbing of a lower level drug dealer during a dispute over missing pills pleaded no contest to murder Monday as jury selection was set to begin.

A man was fatally shot in the parking lot of a south side motel early sunday.  The man was pronounced dead in the parking lot of the Royal Inn Motel.  The bexar county medical examiners office reported.

Police said they’re working to identifying the victim in the shooting and no arrest have been made.

San Antonio police Thursday issued an arrest warrant for joe christopher limon on a murder charge in a shooting death last week.

A shooting at Club MVP just before midnight on May 2 left Frank Bernard Lurati an employee of the club dead.  Limon is also wanted on a felony parole violation charge and a misdemeanor warrant for assault.

He may go by the name Chris Limon and his last known address was on Dalton Court.  Anyone with information is asked to call 210-224-stop.

A Bexar County Juvenile judge monday ordered a 15 year old boy accused of stabbing his mother’s boyfriend to death Saturday night to be held in a juvenile detention center.

A man was shot in an I37 altercation that police believe is road rage.  A man wated in connection with a fatal highway shooting near downtown that police described as fueled by road rage has been arrested.

Ruben Martinez was charged with murder, accused of shooting Francisco Rodriguez as the two drove south along interstate 37 near Fair Avenue two weeks ago.  According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Martinez reportedly had been racing on the highway with his brother on Dec 13 when Rodriguez’s car got between them.

Detectives were still questioning witnesses, but no charges have been fillled against a man accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend at a West Side Auto repaire  shop Monday.  The slaying may be a case of self defense.  The woman 43 apparently learned that her boyfriend who is in his 50′s was fixing his ex girlfirnds van.  She kicked in the door of a mobile home where the couple lived and ransacked it saturday, then shot out a tire of his truck.

Police report the woman then went to the repair shop in the 5400 block of Old Highway 90, where her boyfriend worked and shot out the van’s windows.   These are serious allegations and if you or a family member is facing similar charges contact a great criminal attorney immediatley.

A man was fatally shot and his drinking companion was arrested Saturday at a Northeast Side home.

Police were summoned at 5:30am to the single story home in the 1200 block of Las Nubes Street.

He said arriving officers discovered the body of a man believed  to be in his early 30s, partly inside a two car garage.

Police arrested Andrew Gonzalez and charged him witha  single count of murder said Detective Richard Richardson.  Police said Gonzlalez initially cooperated with investigators and acknowledged his role in the shooting but that he later denied knowing the victim.

Although Fabiana Ortiz Rincon, 37, rarely spoke about strife with the man she had recently married, her aunt suspected trouble and gave her advice hours before Rincon was stabbed to death.

“I told her, Don’t be fighting with your husband, he’s been drinking, so just ignore him and go to bed if he tries to argue with you,” said Guadalupe Alvarez, 61.

Rincon told her aunt not to worry, that everything would be fine.

She had called Alvarez around 3:15 a.m. Sunday to make sure she got home safely from a wedding for one of Rincon’s daughters at her East Side home Saturday night.

Hours after the two women spoke, San Antonio police were called to a shed behind Rincon’s house in the 800 block of Denver Boulevard, where another daughter found Rincon’s body around 10 a.m. Sunday.

Police are looking for Rincon’s husband, Hermenegildo Torñez, who was seen leaving the home in Rincon’s red 1995 Chevrolet Suburban with the Texas license plate SMT344.

Officials believe Torñez, 28, may have been headed for Acapulco, Mexico, his hometown, and authorities throughout the state were given a description of the vehicle and suspect Sunday.

Rincon and the three children still living with her: Angela, 5; Jackie, 13; and Rafael, 18, were going to meet Alvarez at church Sunday morning and bring the aunt some leftover wedding cake.

Instead, Rafael called and summoned her to the home, saying Rincon was dead. She had been stabbed several times in the chest, neck and jaw, according to San Antonio police. Officers found three knives in Rincon’s home and near her body.

“My mother will be missed,” said Reina Tovar, 23, another of Rincon’s daughters. “All of her six children deeply love her with all of our hearts.”

Relatives were shocked that Rincon’s new husband was a suspect in her death.

“I remember he cried when he read his vows at their wedding,” said Rosa Solis, Rincon’s aunt. “I thought he loved her so much.”

But Alvarez said she knew Torñez could be jealous at times and said Rincon didn’t divulge much about her relationship.

“Last week, she started crying and said she didn’t feel like she had any support,” Alvarez said. “She told us she was having problems with her husband, but she didn’t want to talk about it. She would keep things to herself.”

Relatives at her house Saturday night, however, told police the couple had fought all night. Guests left around 3 a.m., according to police, and a neighbor saw Rincon watering her yard around 8 a.m. Sunday.

Rincon’s cell phone was receiving calls from a Mexican phone number while police were processing the crime scene, a police incident report states.

Family members will care for Rincon’s three youngest children, Alvarez said, returning the favor to a woman known for her generosity toward others.

“She would help anyone with anything,” Alvarez said, “and would never leave her children alone. She was a very good mother.”

Elmore Allen spent his final night alive last year at the Hot Bodies Gentlemen’s Club, where he drank, flashed cash and got table dances from several strippers, including Jessica Krause-Patterson, a prosecutor said Tuesday.

When Allen, 49, left the club at closing time, he was with Krause-Patterson. The next morning, he was dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex where Krause-Patterson, then 19, used to live, said prosecutor Kathryn Scales.

Scales told a Travis County jury that Allen was killed while being robbed by Krause-Patterson, 20, and her boyfriend, Jon Tyrell Banks, 23. They are being tried together on murder and aggravated robbery charges before senior state District Judge Bob Perkins.

They each face up to life in prison if convicted of either charge. David Frank, who represents Banks, gave the jury a different version of what happened that night. He said that Allen was intoxicated and had groped Krause-Patterson while giving her a ride home and that Banks later attacked Allen to save Krause-Patterson from him. “There is no intent to kill Elmore Allen,” Frank said. “His intent was to save his girlfriend from what is obviously and im­minently going to be a sexual assault.”

Scales said Hot Bodies is an all nude strip club off Burleson Road and that Krause-Patterson would usually get rides to and from the club from Banks. The night of Allen’s death, Banks was there but left 15 minutes before closing with his brother, she said.

While Krause-Patterson rode in Allen’s truck from the club to an apartment complex on Bluff Springs Road near Interstate 35 and William Cannon Drive, she and Banks were in constant communication on their cellphones, Scales said.

Scales did not disclose the content but said those communications made it clear their intent was “to lure Elmore Allen from Hot Bodies and to separate him from his money.”

She told the jurors that Banks’ brother will testify that he drove Banks to that apartment complex around that time, parked near the front and waited for a time while Banks walked away before returning with Krause-Patterson.

Allen was found dead later that morning with his pockets turned inside out and his cellphone, wallet and one of his rings gone, Scales said. He had a gash near his eye, his head was resting on a stone garden retaining wall, and he had suffered “a devastating fatal wound to the back of his head,” she said.

Banks later gave a friend a ring taken from Allen and told someone that he may have killed a man, Scales said.

Krause-Patterson’s lawyer, Russ Hunt Jr., reserved his opening statement for later in the trial.

Frank, Banks’ lawyer, implored the jury to wait to hear all of the evidence before reaching a conclusion.

Frank said Banks and his brother went to the club the night Allen died but left just before closing to get gas. Finding the brothers gone when the club closed at 2 a.m., Krause-Patterson accepted an offer of a ride with Allen, Frank said.

During the drive, Allen turned the radio up so Krause-Patterson could not make calls on her cellphone and began groping her, Frank said.

“Elmore Allen is breathing heavy on her,” Frank said. “He had his hands on her shoulders, on her breasts. … He was feeling her all over.”

Frank said Krause-Patterson directed Allen to a friend’s apartment complex because she did not want to tell a customer where she lived. Frank said that Krause-Patterson asked Allen to let her out during the drive but that he refused.

When they got to the Colonial Village at Canyon Hills apartments on Bluff Springs Road, Krause-Patterson got out and tried to walk away, but Allen followed her and would not let go of her, Frank said.

“She is screaming … ‘Let go of me,’ ” Frank said.

He told the jury that soon Banks, who had been alerted by text message that Krause-Patterson asked to be dropped at that complex, came running and told Allen, “Get off my girlfriend.”

“Elmore Allen, who has a blood alcohol concentration of .09, gets in front of Jessica and says, ‘Oh, no, you don’t. I’m the man here,’ ” Frank said. “And J.T. (Banks) stands up and protects his girlfriend against Elmore Allen … and he hits him, and Elmore Allen falls back.”
